Free IPv6
The successor to IPv4, IPv6 has the features and solutions needed by the modern Internet, integrity and security improved, the ability to support web capable devices and also a large number of IP addresses. IPv6 offers a total number of 340 trillion trillion trillion IP addresses (340,282,366,920,938,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000). This huge number of IPs provides a great scalability but also brings with it security by making scanning identifying internet connected devices more difficult for attackers. IPv6 can encrypt connections from end to end, although this option exists for IPv4, it is not fully used. Encryption and integrity checking is a component of the IPv6 standard, available for all connections and is making man-in-the-middle types attacks more difficult.
IPv4 is not compatible with IPv6, so the two protocols can not communicate. Specifically, the IPv4 Internet connection can not access IPv6 systems or the other way around. Internet providers are offering and probably will offer for a long time dual stack (IPv4 and IPv6 addresses) to allow a problem free internet browsing.
Hostico is making a step for IPv6 adoption and is offering IPv6 addreses to the entire customer base on both shared hosting packages as well as VPS machines. Thanks to the large number of IPv6 addresses each hosting account have a dedicated IP offered free by Hostico . In order to identify the allocated IPv6 address a cPanel plugin was created that can be found under the Hosting Tools section titled IPv6. The services offered by Hostico (Mail , DNS , Web ) will be now available on both IPv4 and IPv6 connections .
IPv6 is currently only available on cPanel servers but it will be implemented on the other servers as soon as support for IPV6 will become available in the other control panels .
Affiliate
The new Fiscal code, which came into effect on January 1st 2016 makes a number of changes regarding the taxation of individual affiliates . Specifically, individual affiliates income is filled under " other income " and taxed at source by applying a 16% rate. Fees for CAS ( social insurance contribution ) and CASS ( social health insurance contributions ) amounting to 5.5 % and 10.5 % will not be retained by Hostico . In this situation it is not necessary for Hostico to determine if the affiliate has income or not . Unauthorized individual affiliates who frequently obtain (2-3 times / year) gains by marketing services are required to be authorized under the corresponding law .
