Enabling SMS Notifications.

Introduction

In this tutorial we will go through the necessary steps to enable SMS notifications.

Requirement

• Hostico customer account
• Active phone number

Steps

• Activating SMS notifications can be done as follows:

• For existing accounts, this can be done from the Client admin panel.
• It will go to the User section, on the left side of the page.
• In the opened page, navigate to the bottom, from where the SMS Notifications box will be ticked.
• In order for the change to take place successfully, it is necessary to complete the procedure through the Update button.

Note

• Currently, incoming messages contain information related to generating a proforma invoice or suspending hosting services. In the future, if there is demand for this, we will consider implementing other types of messages.
• By default, all existing accounts have disabled sending of SMS, but at any time it is possible to activate them.
• This service is used strictly for notifying customers about the status of invoices and is not intended for Hostico - Customer mutual communication. Communication of information is done through one of the channels presented on the Contact page.
• There is no limit on the number of SMS sent for a single customer account. Of course this is subject to change if this service is abused.
• SMS will be sent between 09:00 and 19:00, any message sent after 19:00 will arrive the next day.
